The AEON

Our first standalone balisong design. Featuring a sandwich handle design and dual scale arrangement enabling numerous possibilities for swapping components and altering the feel, appearance, and weight.

The handles are fully CNC machined and hand-finished for optimal results. Every blade is hand-ground to create a seamless blend of precision machining and artisanal craftsmanship.

The knife provides exceptional grip with bottom jimping. The rounded top scale and big hole pattern facilitate smooth fanning, while the square bottoms offer superb finger purchase during choker fanning and ladders.

How to get a AEON

Currently, we are in the early stages of manufacturing our own knife and are unable to produce all the components in-house. As a result, we outsource a considerable amount of the machined work, which impacts how long it takes to produce builds for purchase. The majority of the builds are custom commissions periodically taken on our Instagram. For those interested in obtaining an AEON, following our account is crucial as it's the prime avenue to acquire one. A big goal of ours for the future is releasing more heavily customized, standard default builds, and lightly customized AEON's here on the site

Blades

The AEON offers various forms from the standard Wharncliffe to popular tantos, to uniquely commissioned double-edged blades. Its handmade nature results in exceptionally distinctive blades in today's era of mass-produced ground or milled bevels.

Scales

Popularized by the JK Design Litetech. The AEON utilizes a top and bottom scale configuration, facilitating scale interchangeability for different visuals, textures, and weight distributions. The AEON scale design is distinct due to its nested structure ensuring scales remain flat when screwed down which other knives struggle with.

Spacers

The AEON spacers are straightforward, providing generous blade space to accommodate for a wide range of blade shapes. Furthermore, each spacer includes four weight pin holes in each handle for adjustable weight via the provided brass and titanium pins.

Hardware

The AEON has lots of different options for hardware materials and finishes. Everything except the t8 body screws are stock and can be sourced through popular hardware sellers like truelink of USA knifemaker. The body screw shaft needs to be .140" long to not poke through and hit blade. Because of this we do recommend just buy the Hardware from us since it is cut to size already.
