Aluminum
- All of our aluminum products are made of 7075 aluminum
- Aluminum parts are deburred by hand, zirblasted, and anodized in‑house.
- Because anodizing aluminum is sensitive to surface condition, alloy, temperature, voltage, and dye uptake, slight variations in shade, gloss, and edge color may occur between orders; these are cosmetic and do not affect fit or strength.
- If you need a closer match, contact us before ordering — you can send your AEON or PEON for more accurate color matching.
AEON Scales
- Scales are sold as sets of four top and four bottom pieces.
- Some materials are only available for v2 AEONs because of the v1 bottom-scale design. If a listing doesn’t offer both versions, it’s for v2 only.
- v1 and v2 scales are not compatible, so be sure to select the correct version for your AEON.
- v2 scales are also available in a solid top scale version. This was a late addition to the AEON offering and many sample pictures do not have examples.
AEON and PEON Spacers
- Spacers are sold as sets: two half‑channel spacers and two small spacers.
- Some materials are available as full‑thickness or floating options.
- Full‑thickness spacers make full contact on both sides of the handles and are the standard offering.
- Floating spacers are thinner and use a 0.020" washer on each side so they do not contact the handles; this allows more vibration and produces more noise.
- Material choice also significantly affects the sound.
